Each muzzle is designed with function at the forefront—from the durable plastic basket to the soft, waterproof Biothane strapping and the perfectly positioned treat hole. Every detail is crafted to ensure your dog feels comfortable, confident, and safe, with ample space for sniffing, drinking, and panting for maximum comfort.
🔩 Strapping & Hardware
- All wholesale muzzles come with black Biothane strapping and nickel hardware as standard.
- Coloured basket options are available, but strapping is black only at this stage.
- Coloured strapping will be introduced in 2025 as a premium upgrade.
➤ Black strapping will remain the most cost-effective option. - All strapping is secured with Chicago screws, allowing:
- Easy cleaning (e.g. in veterinary or clinical settings)
- Safe boiling & reshaping of the muzzle
- Future upgrades (e.g. wider nosebands, quick-release clips)
🎯 Fastening Type
All muzzles are fitted with a standard buckle fastening for maximum adjustability.
- Buckle fastening is ideal for:
- In-store try-ons
- Multi-dog environments like rescues or shelters
- Veterinary settings where regular adjustments are required
Quick-release clip upgrades are available via the standard retail website only, not through wholesale.

Taz is designed for medium-sized breeds and suits a wide range of dogs. It’s ideal for those with longer noses, offering more pant room and slightly more width than our other medium sizes - while remaining narrower than the Sunny.

We do not recommend sizing based solely on breed due to the variability within each breed. However, to provide a general idea, the Taz size may fit the following breeds (note: this is not an exhaustive list):

Hello from America! My pup and I are loving the new muzzle! The sizing guide worked great for us.
This was a great upgrade from the Baskerville Ultra muzzles we tried previously, neither of which fit correctly or had enough pant room. My female GSD seemed to be on the borderline between a regular Taz and a Taz* with the wider noseband, so initially I went for the standard option, but found that my girl's nose was touching the end of the basket. So I then purchased a Taz* foam padded noseband which has made it the perfect fit. The muzzle looks fantastic and seems really secure - it doesn't budge even when my dog shakes (as in the shake dogs do to de-stress). I purchased a headstrap but actually I don't think it's needed, I would definitely fit the headstrap if my dog was going to wear the muzzle during play with other dogs, but for walks the basic muzzle design is fit for purpose.
