Shipping Timeframes
Products labelled as "customisable" are handmade to order. Once your order is placed, we will email you with an estimated shipping timeframe. These items typically ship within 1–2 weeks (excluding pre-orders).
Pre-Made & Ready-to-Ship Items:
Orders for these items are dispatched within one working day. Orders placed after 3 PM will be shipped the next working day. Orders placed after 3 PM on Friday will be shipped on Monday.
Shipping Timeframes:
Estimated delivery times shown at checkout refer to transit time only and do not include processing time. Customisable items take 1–2 weeks to ship. If you select 48-hour tracked delivery, this timeframe applies after dispatch, excluding the dispatch day.
🇺🇸 An Update for Our US Customers: New Import Rules Starting August 29
From August 29, 2025, the United States is changing its customs rules for international orders, including those from the UK.
Here’s everything you need to know, and how to avoid being affected in the short term.
🧾 What’s Changing?
Right now, most of our US customers enjoy duty-free delivery thanks to a rule that waives import charges on orders under $800.
But starting August 29, the US is removing this exemption. That means:
All international shipments — no matter the value — may now be subject to US import duties or taxes.
This applies even though:
Our products are made in the UK
Orders are under $800
You’re ordering as a private customer

You can still completely avoid the new charges if your order is shipped before August 29, so timing is key:
Made-to-order items (our standard muzzles) take around 2 weeks to make. To guarantee they ship in time, please order by August 14.
Ready to Ship muzzles can be ordered a bit later, just make sure you choose tracked shipping, and we’ll make sure it leaves in time, as long as ordered before the 26th of August.
After August 29, we’ll still ship to the US as usual, but some orders may incur small duties or fees when they arrive in the US. These are set by your government and collected by your delivery courier.
✨ What We’re Doing to Help
We’ll continue to ship with tracked couriers for peace of mind.
All packages will include proper customs paperwork to avoid unnecessary delays.
We may offer Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) shipping in future, we do this currently for the EU - where all customers are charged Duties and Taxes upfront, and we pre-pay them on your behalf, so that your order doesn't get help up by customs.

Returns & Refunds
To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
We understand you may need to try the muzzle on your dog to assess fit. This will not invalidate your return, as long as the muzzle is returned in new condition. If you use treats to introduce your dog to the muzzle, please ensure it is thoroughly cleaned before returning.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note, it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If you paid with Klarna , you don’t need to take any action in your Klarna app. We’ll process your refund shortly and Klarna will update your balance automatically. Please don’t open a dispute — we’ve got you covered!
Please note international returns can take up to three weeks in transit, before being processed by our team. If you prefer to return manually outside of the returns platform for faster return shipping please email support@themuzzlemovement.com.
Items that do not qualify for a return
All limited edition items are non-refundable.
Customisable Items
Products labelled as "customisable" are handmade to order based on your chosen specifications. As a result, these items are not eligible for return or refund. This includes collars, leads, and similar customisable products. If you prefer a refundable option, please select from our ready-to-ship selection.
Please Note: The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to customisable items under UK and EU regulations. Custom-made or personalised items are exempt from this right and cannot be returned unless defective.
Customisable Muzzles
Unlike other customisable items, custom-made muzzles can be returned. We understand that dogs need time to adjust, so we allow returns for these items to ensure a proper fit and comfortable wear. Mystery Gift Items All mystery gift items are non-refundable.
Return from anywhere else in the World

We are gradually expanding our internal returns portal to support more countries, making returns easier for customers worldwide. In the meantime, we can generate return shipping labels upon request if you are concerned about return shipping costs. However, we cannot guarantee that this will be a cheaper option. Exchanges
We offer a 30-day exchange policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request an exchange.• Shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
• To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, and in their original condition. We understand you may need to try the muzzle on your dog in order to assess fit, this will not invalidate your return, as long as the muzzle is in new condition. If you use treats to introduce your dog to the muzzle, please ensure the muzzle is thoroughly cleaned prior to returning.

The fastest way to receive a new item is to return your original item first. Once the return is accepted, you can place a new order separately.
If you would like further support finding another more suitable muzzle from our range, re-take your dog's measurements using our measuring guide and provide any photos of your dog in the current muzzle. This will allow us to assess other alternative styles of muzzle that may be suitable.
If your exchange is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. You must include a note with your exchange details inside your return—otherwise, your order will be refunded instead of exchanged.

Exchanging your muzzle for a different Size
You will only be responsible for shipping the item back to us.
There will be no additional charge to re-ship the muzzle back to you.
.Damages and issues
If possible, include a photograph of the issue so we can evaluate and resolve the situation promptly.
Please Note: If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs.
European Union 14-day cooling off period
To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it: unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.
A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Please note: The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to items that are personalised, custom-made, or tailored to a consumer’s specifications, as these are made-to-order based on your specifications and are therefore exempt from this right.
